Saving several PDF pages as JPG images
Sometimes you need page 2, a few pages from the middle and the last one. PDF to JPG lets you pick just those and saves them in one go.
Everything starts selected
When a PDF opens, all of its pages are selected. That makes “the whole document” a single click on the save button, which names the count — for example Save 16 JPGs. For anything less, remove what you don’t need.
Scattered pages
Tap or click a page you don’t want to remove it from the selection. If you only need a handful from a long document, it is often quicker to press Clear first and then tap the pages you want.
Ranges
Type the pages into the range field and press Enter or Apply:
3, 18, 42-46— pages 3 and 18, and 42 to 467-— page 7 to the last page- Commas, semicolons and line breaks all separate entries.
If an entry isn’t a page, points past the end of the document, or runs backwards (9-4), the field says so and your previous selection stays as it was. Pressing the save button with such an entry saves nothing until you correct it. A correct range that you typed but did not apply is applied first, then saved — and the save button already counts those pages while you type.
Select all, Invert, and Odd pages / Even pages (under More) help with larger patterns.
The order is the document’s order
The images come out in the order the pages have in the PDF, whatever order you selected them in. Selecting page 10, then 2, then 6 gives you 2, 6, 10. PDF to JPG does not reorder pages.
What you download
- One page: a single
.jpg, for exampleinvoice-page-3.jpg. - Two or more pages: one ZIP named after your file, for example
invoice-jpg.zip. Inside, each image is named with its page number, padded to the length of the document’s page count so the files sort correctly: in a 16-page PDF,invoice-page-02.jpgandinvoice-page-10.jpg; in a 100-page PDF,invoice-page-003.jpg.
The ZIP stores the JPGs as they are; it does not compress them a second time.
On a phone
Tapping pages is a comfortable way to choose them on a small screen: each tap removes a page from the selection or adds it back, and the magnifier on a card opens a larger preview. You can also type a range with the phone’s keyboard; commas and hyphens are there.
The ZIP is saved where your browser keeps downloads. After saving, Download again gives you the same files without drawing the pages again, and Share can pass the result to another app when your browser supports sharing files.
Long documents
The tool sets no fixed page-count limit. Practical capacity depends on the document, the resolution and the memory available on your device; everything is drawn on your device, so long documents at 300 dpi are the heaviest case. You can follow the progress on the save button and press Cancel at any time.
